Set Up Jio Remote – Pair Your Remote
You need to pair the JioRemote to work with Jio accessories like the Jio GigaTV set-top box. Follow the step-by-step process
Step 1: Power On your both Jio GigaTv set-top box and your connected /LED LCD television and wait for the “Connect Jio accessories” on the tv screen.
Step 2: Insert 3 “AAA” batteries on JioRemote.
Step 3: Wait for the power button to blink 5 times on the remote.
Step 4: Now Press any button on the remote for 10 seconds, so that you will get a message on the monitor saying that “Connected successfully”
Now use the power button on the remote control to “Turn on” and “Turn Off” the GigaTv set-top box.
The multi-color Button is there to play music on the JoSaavn app on GigaTv.
You can play, pause, next, etc with this multi-color button on JioRemote.
The home “button” is there to go to the home screen and if you want to go back to the previous screen, then use the “Back” button
Arrow Button is there for easy navigation.
Button For JioCinema: When you use the JioCinema button, you can then enjoy blockbuster movies, videos, etc with your GigaTv set-top box connection. JioRemote has an exclusive button for the JioCinema web streaming app. You will get the video content that is available in the Jio cinema app also. (Download the Jio cinema app)
Voice Search: There is one button with the mic symbol used for voice search. No other IPTV set-top box remote control is available with voice search. Just press on the button and tell the song name, movie name, artists name, etc and you will get the search results and then play.
When you use voice commands, you will get the results from the partner apps and services of Jio such as Jiocinema, Hotstar, youtube, SonyLiv, and many more other services.
Important: After pressing the Mic button, you need to allow the permissions to headphones for voice search.
More Features Of Jio Remote
Jio remote is now Bluetooth-supported. using which you can make the JIoremote into a universal remote. Just press the universal key on the Jio remote in order to make it a universal remote and make it use for another service too. You need to press 3 times to make it a universal remote.
Drawbacks
One of the drawbacks that I found on the Jio remote control is, it is not replaceable with any of the universal third-party remote controls available in the market. There are so many controllers like General Electric (GE) universal remotes available that can be used as a replacement for a hell lot of the device’s original remotes. The remote can be used to control different branded TVs, DVD players, set-top boxes, and even streaming devices too.

Please help, I want to unpair the TV remote with the JIO setup box remote. tried everything but not working, Reset setup box also done. still not working
Have you removed battery and then re-insert it? Just remove the battery and keep thus for 10-15 minutes and then insert. Then use the remote, almost all pairing will be reset. Try this, and let me know if problem still there.
